| About the Film |
| A comedy centered on Jake Wilkinson, a self-absorbed prep school student, who, just days before Christmas awakens to find himself stranded in the middle of a California desert–wearing a Santa suit and a white beard glued to his face. The butt of a payback by the football team who thinks he double-crossed them by not providing the correct answers to a finals test, Jake has to finds a way to get to New York by 6:00p.m. on Christmas Eve–and catch up with his girlfriend Allie who is on the road with the school stud Eddie–or risk forfeiting the Porche his father promised if he willing comes home for the holidays. As Jake desperately hitchhikes his way east, everyone he meets unwittingly sets into motion a comedy of errors as they look to Santa for help and advice. |

| Trivia & Facts |
| - Jake’s watch switches arms a few times in the opening scene in Allie’s bedroom- When Jake is running from the van, the guard rail beside him seems to end, but in the next shot it appears to be continuous and unbroken.
- When Nolan is talking with Jake in the van while driving he is holding a tomato in one hand and a hamburger in the other, but when he hands them over to Jake (to catch Allie and Eddie) he only hands over the hamburger, and the tomato is nowhere to be seen. - In the very first scene, Ian is locked in a wall locker and passes Jake his mail, math test, and Dave Matthews passes downward through the lowest vent of the locker from the inside. When the locker door opens we can see that the lowest vent is level with the shelf, there is now way Ian could reach above the shelf to pass those objects down through the vent. - Jessica Biel and Adam LaVorgna were dating in real life during the filming of this movie. |
