More “Nailed” news comes our way — even the tiniest blurb is better than nothing. As most of us know, Jesse filmed “Nailed” back in April of 2008, and due to lack of funds, poor planning, and a million other things, the film did not finish shooting. Leaving the stars, crew, and fans to play the waiting game.. over the past couple of years, we’ve received a little bit of news here and there, but when talk of a test screening happend, it re-lit the excitement for Biel fans everywhere! Now we have official news from the court case involving the original producer, David Bergstein from CapitolFilms! Not a lot , just enough to say they are spending an extra $750,000 to finish the project, along with an additional seven million that has already been spent since they ran out of original budget money, which was $26 million. Take a read for yourself:
An attorney for Raspberry Financial, an entity that recently took control of the assets of the unreleased movie Nailed, insisted that his company is separate from Tutor, although it appears Tutor still holds some interest in the movie. Although the director of Nailed, David O. Russell, has left the project, the rep for Raspberry insisted they are spending at least $750,000 more, beyond $7 million already invested, to complete the movie.
