As mentioned before, Jessica is on the July 2010 cover of ‘Glamour’ magazine looking as gorgeous as ever. This has to be one of her best shoots to do date! Some of the article has been posted online, but be sure to pick up the issue to get the full interview!
A paparazzi favorite, Jessica Biel is all over the tabloids; she dates some little-known singer named Justin Timberlake; you’ve probably even found yourself watching her on a rerun of 7th Heaven, the show that gave her her start as a teen. So, as the star of the new movie The A-Team and I get to know each other over salads (hers, chopped; mine, Cobb), I wonder, How is it possible that most of us know so little about this everywhere woman? It has a lot to do with the fact that Biel, 28, is so private about her relationship. (“I want to keep that answer to myself” is her polite response when asked if she’s in love, despite the breakup rumors.) But it’s also that Biel doesn’t take the Holly-hoo of Hollywood so seriously. She happily admits she’s no fashionista—she grew up a tomboy in Boulder, Colorado. And her favorite activity isn’t walking the red carpet; it’s going for hikes with her dogs in L.A. and…studying Egyptology?! Keep reading for a crash course in basic Biel.
GLAMOUR: Well, this is Glamour’s bargain issue! Are you a sale shopper?
JESSICA BIEL: Yes, but I never know when they are! I always hear about the Barneys sale like two days after it’s over.
GLAMOUR: Who taught you the value of money?
JESSICA BIEL: My parents—they are frugal. My dad worked really hard for us.
GLAMOUR: I wanted to ask: Your parents have had a very long and happy marriage. How does it impact your outlook on coupling?
JESSICA BIEL: Well, I think I just watched. My role models were two people who were always kind, loving and supportive of each other, not to say that they are perfect, because nobody is.
