Cameron Diaz dodges Jessica Biel
|
|
Cameron Diaz deliberately avoided Jessica Biel at the CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute.
The ‘What Happens in Vegas’ star rushed through the back entrance of Los Angeles’ Kodak Theatre on last Friday to prevent running into Jessica, who is currently dating Cameron’s ex-boyfriend, singer Justin Timberlake.
A source said: “It was a careful tango to make sure they weren’t backstage at the same time.”
Jessica - who was accompanied by her father Jonathan - presented one of the prizes at the ceremony, which recognises people who have shown incredible bravery and dedication in the face of adversity.
Other stars taking part in the concert and ceremony included Christina Aguilera, Salma Hayek, Forrest Whitaker, Meg Ryan, Terrence Howard, Lucy Liu and Kate Beckinsale.
Cameron famously blew up at the ‘Easy Virtue’ actress at the 2007 Golden Globe Awards after she spotted her flirting with the ‘SexyBack’ star soon after they had split.
The 36-year-old star is now dating British model Paul Sculfor and is reportedly planning to fly out to the UK this month to spend Christmas with his family.

Jessica Biel’s acting anxiety
|
|
Jessica Biel is terrified her success will suddenly stop.
The ‘Easy Virtue’ actress - who is in a relationship with singer Justin Timberlake - admits she is scared the work will dry up because of the current world economic crisis.
She said: “Every time you don’t worry there’s always that fear of, ‘What’s going to happen next? Where’s my next pay cheque coming from and can I pay my mortgage?’ All those kinds of questions start coming in.
“I think it does become intimidating, especially when the business is so rocky and you don’t know what is happening. You wonder if it’s all just going to disappear. There are all these new fears now.”
Jessica, 26, also said she would be devastated if she was forced to give up acting because she loves it so much.
She added: “It’s just the most wonderful job. I love it and it makes me happy, so I wouldn’t let anything drive me away from doing it. I can be stubborn when I need to be.”
