Nailed 2009 Movie resumes again May 13, 2008   - Posted by Stephen It seems at last the curse of filming the new movie “Nailed” has gone back to normal, actor and actress Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Biel were ordered by the Screen Actor’s Guild to walk off the new movies set which is being directed by David O. Russell, the reason for the walk off was all down to financing issues, basically about pay. The production is only half way through filming and not so long ago many people were a little uncertain if or when the filming will resume, well we can tell you that filming has resumed at last. The new movie coming in 2009 is at last filming again which many will be relieved about, “Nailed” which of course stars Jake Gyllenhaal & Jessica Biel had a little trouble not so long ago when Jimmy Caan walked of set because of disagreements. The David O. Russell’s indie political comedy started filming in April and was indeed shut down due to insufficient funds on deposit with the guild. The movies plot is basically about a waitress from a small town who gets a nail lodged in her head accidentally causing unpredictable behaviour which then leads her to Washington, DC. This is where sparks end up flying when she meets a young clueless senator who takes up her cause, but the things that happen next is what happens when love gets in the way of what you stand for. Well shall we pray they get no more interruptions, the filmmakers were able to get in a cool full day of shooting Thursday, well until SAG put its hefty foot down to protect its members during traditionally more dicey independent productions. Just in case you do not know James Brolin has taken over from Jimmy Caan, some insider has said ““It’s been touch and go the entire time. The financiers are doing the best they can. There’s been a cash crunch, that’s for sure. It’s a drag, but they’ll muddle through. Everyone seems happy and committed to the movie and hopefully all this stuff will get worked out.” Post Categories: Film News • Nailed

They,re suppose to film in Connecticut also but now that there are reports of financial problems
I wonder if they’ll go there to film the rest of the movie or just film it all in South Carolina ?

Basically he said my job is not to like the boy and I tryed my darnest not to he’s a nice kid I told him at his house I haven;t meet anyone good enough for my daughter yet and the jury is still out on you. I got to be careful on my beliel but I wouldn,t mind having someone “of that caliber” in the Beil family

I find it hard to believe that her father hasn’t liked her other boyfriends since she has she was in long relationships with them. Supposedly her and Chris even thought about getting married.

I personally don’t see them lasting.

Why was her father being interviewed anyway?

Her father was being interviewed on a radio to promote MTDN, the orginization that he and Jesse started up.

I thought that too, about him not approving her other bfs, she was with Chris for like 5 years. She did say though, that her parents hated her previous bf, Adam Lavorgna.

I bet Cameron Diaz dad felt the same way about Justin when they were dating.
Jessica dad probable did like her old BF but not as husband material for his daughter and he said that the jury is still out with Justin too

If i remember right Jessica has said she doesnt wanna get married, but people change of course.

Of course her dad would say that anyway, he’s not gonna say Justin is an asshole on the radio right, lol.

But above all that, they seem like a happy couple, behind closed doors… maybe if they acted more like that in public instead of being grumpy around the photogs then they would make more of a believable couple.

I don,t remember but were there any photos of Jessica with her ex showing some PDA out in public like there were when Justin was dating Cameron ?

i remember when Jessica and Justin first started to date there was a few pictures of them kissing

There are two that I remember
1) is Jessica kissing Justin on the forehead and and the other were thier sitting at a table on one of the first concert dates that he did over in Europe but I,ve never seen anymore since then Just hand holding Just look back at Photos of Justin and Cameron back when they first started dating over on other sites and then look for photos of Justin and Jessica I know Justin and Cameron dated much longer but these were photos on them in the very begining of thier relationship alot of hugging ,holding hands ,kissing even there was a photo of Justin giving Cameron a horse back ride nothing comes close to that kind PDA with Jessica

AS FOR THE JURY BEING OUT…that appears to have been in the beginning when her father first met him, otherwise he wouldn’t be saying that he wouldn’t mind someone of J’s calibre joining the family.

Well certainly not all the time. Showing PDA’s means nothing. Most of the time i believe that it’s for the cameras anyway…..for the mags to have pics and for people like some on here to go, ” OH LOOK THEY MUST LOVE EACH OTHER, THEY’RE KISSING ETC….SO THAT MEANS THAT THEY ARE (drumroll)….. A *REAL* COUPLE”.

Showing PDA’s doesn’t mean that a couple is going to last. The examples given shows that. What goes on behind closed doors is far more important. There are many couples in lasting relationships that aren’t on the PDA list.

What does her father mean when he is saying he has to be careful about his beliefs? What are his beliefs?

As for the PDA thing, just because they don’t show any doesn’t mean they aren’t going to last. But the lack of PDA (or them just not wanting to show any) doesn’t mean they are going to last either. People think of it both ways. If they show PDA, they are a real couple. If they don’t show PDA, people think that they just want to remain private and that must means it will last. PDA or no PDA, nobody knows if they will last. They probably don’t know. Their families and friends don’t know.

We can all just give our opinions and mine is that they won’t last.

Jessica said a while back that she loves PDA and would do it any time, any place.

As for the Adam Lavorgna thing, she’s referred to him in interviews before, he was supposedly a trouble maker and her parents nor her friends liked him at all, but she conitued to go out with him because it was during her rebellious phase or something to that affect.
